A SUCCSESSFUL BEGINNING
Establishment of the family enterprise by Carl Vaugoin. He specialises in heavy hand-hit board cutleries and lays the establishment stone for the enterprise.

 

1873

VIENNESE WORLD EXHIBITION
Award of several medals on the world exhibition in Vienna. It is the first world exhibition in the german-speaking area in Europe.

 

1905

A GROUNDBREAKING COOPERATION
Merge of the enterprise with the master company of Jarosinski. Moving to Zieglergasse 24, in the 7th Viennese district and still today's location of the enterprise. It is called from now on L. Jarosinski & J. Vaugoin.

 

1910

IMPERIAL — ROYAL HONOUR
Award of the k. and k. eagle with the permission to lead it in the sign and seal.

 

1920

ART AND CRAFT IN HARMONY
Close collaboration with designers and artists of the workshop Wiener Werkstätte under Josef Hoffmann.

 

1928

ROYAL ROMANIAN COURT

WORLD EXHIBITION IN PARIS
Achievement award at the L´Exposition Internationale des Arts et Techniques.

 

1955

DONNERBRUNNEN
Reproduction of the „Donnerbrunnen“ ordered by the Austrian government as a present to the USSR in recognition of signing the state contract.

 

1958

WORLD EXHIBITION IN BRUSSELS
Exhibition of selected silver items in the Austrian pavilion on the world exhibition in Brussels.Award of a silver medal for Austrian high-quality work at international level.

 

1959

AUSTRIAN EMBASSIES
Equipment of numerous foreign embassies with official silver cutlery.

 

1969

A ROYAL PRESENT
Reproduction of the famous „Saliera“ of Benvenutto Cellini which was handed to queen Elizabeth II on her state visit by the city of Vienna.

 

1997

ARABIAN ROYAL FAMILY
Palace equipment of an Arabian royal family with silver according to the draught of an Italian designer.

 

2003

A SUCCESSFUL INHERITANCE
Takeover of the enterprise by Victor Carl Vaugoin, Jean-Paul Vaugoin and Benjamin Louis Vaugoin who manage the enterprise successfully in the sixth generation.


2005: From now on Jean-Paul Vaugoin leads the fortunes of the house.

 

2008

MALAYSIAN KING`S COURT
Equipment of the palace of a Malaysian sultan with butter dishes.

 

2010

VIENNA DESIGN WEEK
Within the scope of the Vienna design week Jarosinski & Vaugoin presented their pieces of art on the subject table culture. In close collaboration with the Rotterdam designers studio Makkink & Bey and the k. and k. court suppliers Demel the subjects silver, sugar and the art of bakery were documented in their origin process impressively and reproduced with own designs. The exhibition presents important and topical design trends of established as well as young designers and is one of the most important events in the area of production culture and industrial design in Vienna.

 

2011

ARABIAN ROYAL FAMILIES
Visit of the Quatarian sheikha in the company premises of Jarosinski & Vaugoin and order of 2 sets complete palace equipment.

 

2012

VIENNESE TRADITION MEETS MOSCOW
Within the scope of the exhibition Viennese Tradition meets Moscow Jarosinski & Vaugoin present their pieces of art in the international art gallery Heritage in Moscow. The exhibition is an essential step towards the Russian market. Viennese design and culture should be decisively moved in the field of vision while anchoring their meaning in the areas of art, culture, craft and design.
